According to the report released by the Syrian Network for Human Rights, Assad’s forces and allied militias, as well as Assad and Russian warplanes, have violated the ceasefire for 77 times in Aleppo, Idlib, Hama, rural Homs and Damascus. The report was based on eyewitnesses and monitoring operations.
The airstrikes against the Atarib city, west Aleppo, led to the death of 4 civilians and the wounding of several others. Assad Regime and Russian warplanes also bombed the vicinity of the Regiment 47, the Miznaz town in western Aleppo countryside and the Iqarda area in southern Aleppo countryside, which resulted in massive destructions and the injury of some civilians. Assad’s forces and Assad warplanes also bombed areas controlled by the local factions in Idlib, Hama, rural Homs and Damascus, in addition to the targeting of the Wadi and Berdi towns with airstrikes and heavy artillery as Assad’s forces were trying to advance on several fronts near those towns. The Merj area, the Hazrama town and the outskirts of the Missile Batallions, as well as the Duma and Mashabiya cities were targeted by rockets and heavy artillery shells.
Russia had brokered a ceasefire agreement with the local factions, which includes a halt to any kind of military operations to capture new areas.
