An Aleppo 24 correspondent reported today that warplanes belonging to the Assad regime executed airstrikes on the vicinity of Al-Bab city, Aleppo’s eastern countryside, killing eight civilians, including women and children.
He confirmed that the warplanes struck areas held by the Euphrates Shield forces and the Turkish army, damaging several armored vehicles and causing causalities in their ranks. The airstrikes were carried out as they were approaching and advancing towards Al-Bab city.
In the meantime, the Assad regime aircraft targeted a reinforcement convoy belonging to the Turkish army in the early morning, killing 3 Turkish soldiers and wounding several others.
The correspondent confirmed that the Euphrates Shield were forced to retreat from the outskirts of the city after the airstrikes.
In other news, the Turkish army helicopters and planes evacuated the wounded and killed among their army. He also stated that Daesh retreated from villages of Sheikh Keyf, Jouba, and Nayrabiya near the Sheikh Najar Industrial city, northeast Aleppo, and then both, the SDF and Assad’s forces, advanced and captured those villages.
