For the third day in a row, Assad’s warplanes executed violent airstrikes on residential buildings in the Shaar neighborhood of Aleppo city using dozens of missiles and barrel bombs.
Al-Anassari neighborhood was targeted with two consecutive air raids which wounded several civilians and caused destruction to many residential buildings. Hours later, the same neighborhood was struck with parachute missiles, which led to the death of five civilians and the wounding of several others. Parachute bombs were also dropped on the Salhyine neighborhood, killing four civilians and destroying a four-floor building, as well as the wounding of two children and other civilians.
In the meantime, the Russian warplanes renewed the airstrikes in Aleppo by targeting the Ansari Sharqi, Al-Mashhad and the Salaheddine neighborhoods, causing material damages only.
Concerning the northeast of Aleppo, at least three civilians, including two children and a woman, were killed in indiscriminate air strikes on the Mua’di neighborhood while two others were killed in the Muwasalat.
The Russian and Assad’s warplanes are still flying over the sky of besieged Aleppo and the eastern countryside as we speak, dropping parachute bombs which do not make any noise until they hit the ground.
