HTS hands over Abu Rawil hill to the Assad’s forces, and the latter are now besieging Mount Al-Hiss by fire

Ten thousand civilians were displaced from their homes in Mount Al Hiss area in southern Aleppo to the countryside of Hama and Idlib today. This came after HTS retreated from the frontlines on the pretence that they were about to go under siege by advancing Assad’s forces in the area.

Assad’s forces have recently advanced in the countryside of Hama and Idlib, capturing dozens of villages and towns located on the Abu Duhur airport, bearing in mind that the military factions had been able to repel many regime attacks on the area for years, but after HTS took control over the area following its fight against Ahrar Sham, during which some local factions joined its ranks, the balance of power changed.

These military development come after the exposure of a series of new agreement and new deals that were secretly issued and made in Astana conference.
